Maria Jockel

Maria Jockel is a seasoned immigration law professional with extensive experience in leading immigration services at BDO in Australia since January 2017, where responsibilities include governance, risk, compliance, and tailored immigration solutions. Previously, Maria served as Partner and Leader of the National Immigration Law Group at Holding Redlich, and as Principal at Russell Kennedy, focusing on various aspects of immigration law, including residency applications and ministerial submissions. Maria holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, is an Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law, and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. Additionally, Maria has completed a graduate program with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
