Marita Corbett

Marita Corbett has extensive experience in audit, risk, and governance, currently serving as the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at the Department of Environment and Science and as an Independent Member of the Audit Committee for the Queensland Parliamentary Service. Since May 1999, Marita has been a Partner in Risk Advisory Services at BDO Australia Limited. Additional roles have included Non-Executive Director at Seqwater, Independent Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Public Safety Business Agency, and Director at Gladstone Ports Corporation Ltd. Marita holds numerous qualifications, including degrees from Harvard Business School, Griffith University, and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, along with certifications in Risk Management Assurance and Internal Auditing.
