Neil Smith

Neil Smith is a seasoned audit professional with extensive experience in the accounting sector, currently serving as a Partner in the Audit division at BDO in Australia since April 2016. Prior to this role, Neil was a Partner at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, overseeing assurance and advisory services from July 2010 to March 2016, and spent 14 years as a Partner at PKF Chartered Accountants, including a period as Managing Partner of the Perth practice. Additionally, Neil has held leadership roles such as Chairman of the Murdoch University Vet Hospital, Director of Kailis Organic, and Honorary Treasurer for the Diabetes Research Foundation. Neil's career began as a Special Projects Accountant at Rural Press Limited and has included various responsibilities in assurance, advisory, and corporate services across multiple industries.
