Ruhan van Rooyen

Ruhan van Rooyen is an experienced Audit Senior currently employed at BDO in Australia since August 2023. Prior to this, Ruhan held similar roles at Mazars in Bermuda from December 2022 to June 2023 and at BDO in Australia from June 2022 to July 2022, all while performing various engagements remotely from Cape Town, South Africa. Ruhan also worked at BDO in Australia as an outsourced Audit Senior from August 2021 to March 2022. Ruhan began the professional journey as an Audit Clerk at BDO, advancing to Audit Senior from February 2018 to January 2021. Additionally, Ruhan was a Professional Athlete and Student Athlete for the Stellenbosch University Parasport Team while pursuing Bachelor's and Honours degrees in Accounting and Finance at Stellenbosch University between 2014 and 2017. Ruhan completed secondary education at Jan van Riebeeck High School, earning a Matric Certificate in 2013.
