Ericsson Costa has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Ericsson began their career as a System Software Engineer and "C" Programmer at GKW Fredenhagen in 1988. During their time there, they developed a monitoring defects system for industrial transportation automation, which brought significant value and generated over $1 million in revenue.

In 1994, Ericsson joined Pulsar Informática as a Technology & Network Services Development professional. Ericsson worked in this role until 2000.

Ericsson then transitioned to Compaq, where they served as a Business and Program Manager. Ericsson collaborated with the sales team and customers to manage contractual business for IT Mission Critical services. Additionally, they played a key role in deploying various programs, including a "Print on Demand" solution in Managed Services and consulting packages.

In 2003, Ericsson joined Hewlett-Packard as a Services Business Manager. In this position, they managed the overall hardware and software support services segment in Brazil and surrounding regions. Ericsson was responsible for portfolio lifecycle management, revenue growth, and margin contribution. Moreover, they actively participated in several improvement projects that resulted in over $6 million in savings.

From 2010 to 2018, Ericsson worked at Ocê Brasil - A Canon Company, where they served as a Latin America Customer Service Professional. Ericsson oversaw the service area, including profit and cost management, delivery, contact center administration, and quality control. Ericsson also played a crucial role in enhancing customer productivity through automation and technology, as well as collaborating on product launch planning and lifecycle management.

Most recently, Ericsson joined BDO Brazil in 2018 as the Outsourcing IT Director. In this role, they managed projects in various outsourcing departments, such as tax, accounting, labor, and finance. Their responsibilities included ensuring automation, quality, and productivity within the organization. Additionally, they led the support and development team to maintain and update the ERP system for internal and external customers.

Ericsson Costa has a diverse education history. Ericsson completed a Postgraduation in Financial Planning and Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2008. In 2005, they obtained an MBA in Service Marketing from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. In 2001, they pursued a Posgraduation in Process Improvement - Black Belt at Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and in 1999, they completed a Posgraduation in Marketing Administration at Universidade São Marcos. Prior to that, they graduated with a degree in Electrical Industry Engineering from Universidade Santa Cecília in 1992, after attending ETE Lauro Gomes for their Technical College degree in Electronics from 1983 to 1985.
