Michael Costello

Michael Costello has extensive experience in the accounting and audit sector, currently serving as a Partner and Managing Partner at BDO since March 2014. Prior to this role, Michael was a Partner and Head of Audit at BDO Ireland from January 2004 to February 2014, and previously held a partnership position at Costello McElroy from January 2000 to December 2003. Michael played a pivotal role in expanding BDO in Ireland to over 550 staff and 42 partners during a nine-year tenure as Managing Partner. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Studies in Banking and Finance from UCD Smurfit Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Studies from UCD. Early education was completed at Terenure College.
