Markus Hug

Markus Hug is an experienced IT audit and consulting professional with a career spanning multiple prominent organizations. Since August 2019, Markus has been the Head of IT Audit and Consulting at BDO Schweiz. Prior to this role, Markus served as Chief Technology Officer at CB Financial Services Ltd. and held various leadership positions at Raiffeisen Schweiz, including Head of Services and Head of IT Audit. Additional experience includes director-level roles at UBS and senior management at PwC, leading IT audit teams focused on financial services. Markus holds a Diploma from the University of St.Gallen and several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Swiss-Certified IT Project Manager.
