Patrick Liechti

Patrick Liechti has extensive experience in auditing regulated financial intermediaries. Patrick started their career at Credit Suisse as a Manager in internal group audit, conducting audits domestically and internationally. Patrick then joined Bankrevisions- und Treuhand AG as the Head of financial services, where they worked for over a decade. Following that, Liechti joined Mazars as the Head of Banking Zurich and a member of the executive board. Patrick is recognized as a lead auditor for banks, securities dealers, and money laundering prevention. Currently, Liechti is a Partner and Head Professional Practice Financial Services at BDO Schweiz, where they are responsible for leading the department and overseeing internal revision mandates for banks in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Patrick Liechti attended the University of Zurich from 1986 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Betriebswirtschaft mit Vertiefung Bank. During this time, they obtained a lic.oec.publ degree. In 2003, they briefly attended the Universität Liechtenstein, where they pursued a degree in Wirtschaftsprüfer FL. No specific field of study is mentioned for this second degree.
