Susanne de Zordi Bernkopf

Susanne De Zordi Bernkopf has a diverse work experience in the financial services sector. Susanne started their career at PwC in 1999, where they worked as a Senior Manager for over 15 years. In 2015, they joined BDO Switzerland as a Director and Lead Auditor for Banks & Asset Managers, and also headed the Fintech & DLT division. Susanne then transitioned to gwp geissbühler weber & partner in 2019, where they held multiple roles, including Executive Committee Member, Head of the Liechtenstein branch, and Partner at Geissbühler Weber & Partner in Zurich. In 2022, they briefly worked at BDO Switzerland as the Incoming Head of BDO Financial Services Switzerland before being appointed as the Head in January 2023. Additionally, starting in 2023, they became a member of the Financial Market department at EXPERTsuisse.

Subsequently, they attended EXPERTsuisse from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Dipl. Wirtschaftsprüferin degree in Auditing. In 2016, they enrolled in the CAS Digital Banking program at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, focusing on Digital Banking. In 2018, Susanne completed a Blockchain Technology Course at the same university, specializing in Blockchain. Continuing their education journey, they then obtained a MOOC in Digital Currencies from the University of Nicosia in 2019. Finally, in 2020, Susanne participated in the SDGs and Sustainable Finance program at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
