Daniel Charlap

Daniel Charlap is a seasoned professional in M&A tax with extensive experience in managing and leading operations across prominent firms. Currently serving as Managing Director at BDO USA since January 2023, Daniel previously held the position of Director in the same department. Prior to that, Daniel was Senior Vice President at Houlihan Lokey from January 2022 to January 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing the M&A Tax Healthcare platform. Daniel’s career includes a tenure at KPMG US from January 2019 to January 2022 as a Senior Manager, where a focus on tax due diligence, structuring, and cash tax modeling for both private equity and strategic clients was key. Daniel obtained a degree in Accounting from Yeshiva University, completing studies in 2013.
