Sarah Steigerwald

Sarah Steigerwald, CPA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in M&A Tax Services. Sarah began her career at Grant Thornton LLP, where roles included M&A Tax Senior Associate and M&A Tax Manager from August 2014 to January 2016. Sarah then joined Deloitte, progressing from M&A Tax Manager to M&A Tax Managing Director between August 2016 and August 2025, currently serving as M&A Tax Senior Manager. Expertise encompasses federal, state, and international M&A transactional issues, particularly in ASC 740, with a diverse client base of private equity and strategic clients in consumer products, manufacturing, and technology sectors. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Wayne State University.
