John Morrissey

John Morrissey is a Managing Director at BDO in New York, bringing over 35 years of experience in crime and professional liability. Currently, John investigates and supports crime, cyber, and professional liability insurance claims. Prior to joining BDO in 2017, John was the Managing Director of the Legal/Claims Group at Aon for 21 years, and has held various roles in claims, legal, and underwriting management at organizations such as AIG and Crum & Forster. John has also authored publications for the American Bar Association and served as a speaker at numerous industry events. John holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University and a Doctor of Law from New York Law School.
