Parrish M. Galliher is an independent bioprocess consultant with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. They earned a BA in Biology from Boston University in 1975 and an MS in Biochemical Engineering from MIT in 1981. Over a 20+ year career in technical management roles at Biogen, Alpha-Beta Technology, LeukoSite, and Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Galliher contributed to the development and licensure of significant biotherapeutics, including Avonex™ and CAMPATH™. They founded Xcellerex Inc., a company focused on single-use biomanufacturing technology, which was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2012, where Galliher served as Chief Technology Officer until 2021. Recognized as Bioprocess International’s “Thought Leader of the Decade, Upstream” in 2012, Galliher focuses on advancing biotechnology to enhance human health.
