Peter Pentland

Peter Pentland is the Principal and National Practice Leader of Accounting Methods at BDO USA, where they provide tax accounting methods services to companies across various industries. With subject matter expertise in areas such as inventory methods, interest expense capitalization, and long-term contract accounting, Peter assists clients in navigating complex regulations and practices. Previously, they were a Partner at RSM US LLP and served on the AICPA Tax Methods and Periods Technical Resource Panel and the AICPA Tax Executive Committee. Peter holds a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa.
