Dan Loughry

Dan Loughry has extensive experience in military and defense roles, beginning as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps from April 2001 to August 2015, where various command and staff positions were held. Loughry served as Deputy Director of the Communications Directorate and Commander of the Fleet Anti-Terrorism Support Team - Pacific. From April 2020 to July 2021, Loughry was the Service Lead for the Close Combat Lethality Task Force at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, followed by a tenure as Service Chief Fellow at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in early 2020. Currently, Loughry is a Senior Manager at BDO USA, starting in July 2021. Loughry's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College, a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University, complemented by business training at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
