Eric Fischer

Eric Fischer, CPA, has extensive experience in tax management and client engagement, currently serving as a Tax Principal at BDO USA, LLP since July 2011, after progressing through roles as Tax Senior Manager and Tax Manager. Responsibilities include managing multiple client relationships, training and mentoring staff, and participating in decision-making related to business development and efficiency improvements. Previously, Eric worked as a Senior Associate at KPMG LLP from July 2006 to July 2011, focusing on federal and state/local tax preparation and advisory services for various entities. Eric's academic background includes a BA and MS in Accounting with a specialization in tax from Michigan State University, complemented by early roles as a Graduate Student and Managerial Accounting Assistant at the same institution, as well as an internship at KPMG LLP.
