Katie Girmscheid

Katie Girmscheid is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in state and local tax services. Currently serving as Managing Director at BDO USA, LLP since March 2015, Katie has progressed through various roles including Senior Manager and Manager in the same department. Prior to BDO, Katie worked at Deloitte as a Tax Senior Associate focusing on Multistate Tax Services and held the position of Senior Associate at Grant Thornton LLP specializing in State and Local Tax. Katie began her career as a Tax Intern at Chortek & Gottschalk, LLP. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Tax from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Lubar College of Business.
