Kelly Austin

Kelly Austin, CIPP/E, CIPM, has extensive experience in privacy and data protection, currently serving as a Senior Associate at BDO USA since July 2022 after roles as an Experienced Associate and Associate in the same field. Prior to BDO USA, Austin gained experience as a Governance, Risk & Compliance Intern at BDO USA, LLP, and as a Pathways Financial Institution Intern at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Academic experience includes a research assistantship at Lafayette College, where data analytics on political leaders were compiled under Professor Andrew Clarke. Austin also completed externships at UBS Investment Bank and Comcast Business Center, as well as a Tax Accounting Internship at Victaulic, focusing on tax data management. Austin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government & Law from Lafayette College, completed in May 2022, and a high school diploma from Nazareth Area High School.
