Kevin Wilkes, JD, LL.M, serves as a Tax Principal at BDO USA within the M&A Tax (TAS Tax) Special Projects Group since July 2021, after holding various managing director roles in M&A Tax and National Tax Office. Prior to BDO, Kevin was a Principal at Louis Plung & Company, LLP. Kevin's earlier experience includes senior management positions in M&A Tax at KPMG US and a Senior Tax Manager role at Global Tax Management. Kevin began professional legal experience as a Law Clerk at The Washington County Court of Common Pleas. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.
