Vivian Xu is a Growth Equity Associate at BDT & MSD Partners since January 2023, focusing on investments in high growth technology businesses within the software, fintech, and consumer internet sectors. Prior to this role, Vivian served as a Growth Equity Analyst and Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays, specializing in the Financial Institutions Group. Earlier experience includes positions as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Barclays and a Summer Credit Analyst at Oak Hill Advisors, where the firm specializes in alternative investments across various credit markets. Vivian also participated in the highly selective Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program, gaining foundational skills in investment concepts. Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University.
