Brian Phillips is an experienced Director of Business Development & Commercialization with a strong background in leading commercialization programs within biomedical research institutes and the biotech industry. Currently, they serve as the Director of the Intellectual Property Core & Office of Science-Industry Partnerships at Seattle Children's and hold a board observer position at Be Biopharma. Previously, Brian worked in various capacities, including as a Licensing Associate at Texas A&M University System and Rice University, and as the Director of the BLG Internship Program at Baylor College of Medicine. Brian earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Houston and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
