Lea Hachigian

Vice President, Strategy & Operations at Be Bio

Lea Hachigian has a long and varied work experience. Lea began their career in 2007 as an intern at SentreHEART, Inc., followed by an internship at Pharmacofore, Inc. in 2009. In 2009, they also worked as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School, and in 2012, they were a graduate student in molecular and cellular neuroscience at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. From 2017 to 2020, they were employed at Longwood Fund, where they held the roles of Entrepreneur in Residence, Principal, and Associate. In 2018, they were a Board Observer at Bicycle Therapeutics, a Co-Founder and President at TScan Therapeutics, and a Co-Founder and President at Immunitas Therapeutics. In 2020, they became the Founding CEO and Director at ImmuneID, and the Vice President of Strategy & Operations and Co-Founder at Be Biopharma.

Lea Hachigian obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Neurobiology from Harvard University between 2008 and 2012. Lea then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2017. In September 2017, Lea also obtained a 200 hour YogaWorks Yoga Teacher Training certification from YogaWorks, Inc.
