Stephen Oakden

Stephen Oakden is a seasoned professional in the field of design and engineering with extensive experience spanning several decades. Since founding Built Environment Design Partnership in January 2013, Oakden has served as Director of this multidisciplinary design consultancy. Concurrently, since January 2010, Oakden has been the founder and Director of KASS Properties, a specialized property company. Prior roles include serving as Technical Director at RPS Group from June 2006 to December 2009, leading a multidisciplinary design team for notable clients in various sectors, and as a Board Director at Burks Green from May 1990 to June 2006, overseeing IT infrastructure and design teams. Early career roles include positions as a Graduate Engineer at Smithers Purslow and Richard Jackson Limited. Oakden holds dual BEng (Hons) degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering from the Polytechnic of Wales and the University of South Wales.
