Michael Kent

Michael Kent started their work experience as a Crew Member at McDonald's Corporation from July 2014 to July 2016. Michael then worked as an Electronics Workshop Technician at Colchester Institute from February 2016 to August 2016. From September 2016 to September 2018, they worked at Virgin Media as a Business Engineer Apprentice, eventually transitioning into a Business/Core Engineer role. At Virgin Media Business, they served as a Business Network Engineer from September 2018 to September 2020. Michael then joined Virgin Media O2 as a Network Engineer and Business Faults Engineer from September 2020 to December 2021, where they were responsible for diagnosing faults and maintaining the network. From January 2022 to April 2022, they worked at RCU Solutions Limited as a Quality Control/Fibre Supervisor, ensuring top-quality work in building a FTTH network. Michael also briefly served as the Acting Project Manager at RCU Solutions Limited from April 2022 to June 2022, overseeing FTTH PIA Delivery projects. Currently, they are working at BeFibre as an FTTH Installation Manager, managing a team of installation engineers to deliver broadband services.

Michael Kent attended The Gilberd School from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a GCSE. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Colchester Institute, where they pursued an Engineer's Degree Level 3. Michael successfully completed an Extended Diploma in Electric and Electronic Engineering, accumulating 180 credits in this program.
