Hans Van Winckel

Hans Van Winckel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Hans began their career as a Project Engineer at CQS GROUP RACING TEAM in 2009 and then worked as a Student Tutor at Logos in 2011, where they provided comprehensive course insights and developed strategic plans for struggling students.

In the same year, Hans joined Belgacom as a Management Trainee and completed three projects in different departments, gaining a holistic view and deep market understanding. Hans'sresponsibilities included serving as a Strategic Consultant in the Group Strategic Questions Department, functioning as a Project Manager in the Sales Development Department, and serving as the Key Account Manager Indirect Sales in the Sales Department of subsidiary Scarlet. In these roles, they managed and coordinated projects, improved sales figures, and developed new ways of working.

Hans continued their career at Proximus, starting in 2011. Hans worked as a Business Innovation & Development Specialist in the Group Strategy/Innovation & Strategic Alliances department, where they built business models based on new concepts and created opportunities for generating new revenue streams. Hans then progressed to become a Strategy Manager in the Strategy, Innovation & Growth in the Enterprise Division, analyzing and proposing growth scenarios, providing strategic recommendations, and driving group initiatives in the Automotive & Smart Mobility area.

In 2018, Hans joined Be-Mobile as a Strategy Director. In this role, they led the mid to long-term strategy definition process in collaboration with the CEO and other stakeholders, initiated and matured files to deliver company goals, and was involved in public affairs as a member of several industry federations.

At each stage of their career, Hans demonstrated a strong focus on strategy development, growth initiatives, and business innovation. Hans has also shown a commitment to continuous learning and development, having been selected for an Advanced Leadership Development training track during their time at Proximus.

Hans Van Winckel completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their high school education at Sint-Rita College from 2000 to 2006. Hans pursued a degree in Latin-Mathematics during this time. Following their high school education, Hans attended GroepT Leuven Engineering College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering. Lastly, they attended Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School from 2010 to 2011 and earned another Master's Degree, this time in Management.
