Tijs Poot

Tijs Poot has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Tijs began their career with summer jobs in multiple companies from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they worked as a catering assistant at De Zoutkorrel until 2016. During this time, they also completed an internship at Delaware Consulting BeLux in 2015, where they conducted market research and made recommendations for ERP requirements.

In 2015, Tijs worked as a consultant at 180 Degrees Consulting, where they provided consulting services to non-profit and socially minded companies. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an SAP EWM Consultant at Delaware Consulting BeLux, implementing SAP systems in SMEs.

In 2018, Tijs ventured into entrepreneurship and founded two companies. Tijs established Mijnlunch.be, a commercial platform for catering businesses to manage their orders. Tijs also founded Delilunch, a catering company focusing on lunch services to companies, where they had various responsibilities including marketing, operations, and financial management. Delilunch was later sold in February 2020, but is still active and growing.

In 2020, Tijs worked as a Software Engineer at Vleeswaren De Keyser Nv, where they extracted, organized, and managed data from the ERP system into a SQL database. Tijs also created planning and reporting tools using Excel with mySQL and VBA.

Currently, Tijs Poot is working as a Full Stack Developer at Be-Mobile since 2022.

Tijs Poot completed their education in a chronological order. Tijs first attended Don Boscocollege Zwijnaarde from 2005 to 2011, where they pursued their high school education with a focus on Latin and Mathematics. Following this, they enrolled in Ghent University from 2011 to 2014 and obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Engineering. Continuing their education at Ghent University, Tijs completed their Master's Degree in Business Engineering with a specialization in Operations Management from 2014 to 2016.
