Wannes De Smet

Wannes De Smet's work experience began in 2012 when they worked as an intern and later became an Applied IT researcher at Sizing Servers Research Lab. In 2014, they volunteered as an IT Infrastructure Consultant at Mountains of the Moon University, where they provided assistance in planning and setting up IT infrastructure. From 2016 to 2019, Wannes served as the Big Data & Development Manager at Be-Mobile. After that, they held the position of Lead C-ITS at Be-Mobile from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Wannes is serving as the Offering Manager Traffic Information at Be-Mobile.

Wannes De Smet completed their education at two institutions. From 2002 to 2009, they attended Sint Franciscusinstituut, where they pursued a degree in Science and Maths (ASO WEWI). The field of study for this degree is not specified. Following this, from 2009 to 2012, they attended Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen - Vlaamse Autonome Hogeschool and obtained a degree in New Media and Communications Technology, specializing in Network and System Administration/Administrator.
