Lisa Banks

Lisa Banks, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Vice President and Global Head of Digital Health & Innovation at GSK since September 2019. In addition to this role, Lisa is an Executive Board Member and Vice Chair at DIGITALEUROPE and a Business Mentor at Be the Business, both since 2021. Previously, Lisa held the position of Global Head of Business Planning at UCB, where strategic initiatives were implemented to enhance clinical portfolio management through advanced data analytics. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Loughborough University, NHS Innovations, and RegenTec, focusing on digital therapeutics, business development, and the commercialization of innovative technologies. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Nottingham, an Executive MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, and a Pharmacy degree from The University of Manchester.
