Esteban Silva

Esteban Silva is a seasoned petroleum engineer with extensive experience in production optimization and reservoir management. Currently serving as a Petroleum Engineer Consultant at Beach Energy Ltd since August 2023, Esteban specializes in production optimization, artificial lift, and well interventions. Prior to this role, significant contributions were made at Woodside Energy from April 2009 to September 2022, notably as the Pluto Principal Reservoir Engineer, where Esteban delivered a comprehensive subsurface study that critically informed a major reserves update. Other roles included leading infill opportunities, production technology support, and optimizing operations for various oil fields. Earlier experience includes positions at Eni from January 2001 to February 2009, focusing on artificial lift and heavy oil development. Esteban holds a Petroleum Engineering degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, earned between 1996 and 2000.
