Michael Henson

Michael Henson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Engineering Services Lead for South Australia and Western Australia at Beach Energy Ltd since October 2017. Prior to this role, Michael held positions including Senior Facilities Engineer at Beach Energy Ltd and Operations Engineer at Epic Energy South Australia Pty Ltd, where responsibilities included engineering support for operations and asset management. Michael's career includes significant leadership as a Lead/Senior Production Engineer at Santos Ltd, where technical support was provided for major projects and production operations. Earlier experience includes mechanical and project engineering roles at KBR, Inc., with key secondments to BHP Billiton and EOS Joint Venture for major projects, as well as foundational experiences at ExxonMobil and Transfield Services. Michael holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
