Akuba Torvikey Dawkins, MBA has worked in the beauty and wellness industry for over a decade. In 2007, they began their career as a Consulting Analyst, IT & Management at Accenture. In 2011, they joined Bronner Brothers, Inc. as a Marketing & Promotions Manager, where they developed brand strategy for two product lines, evaluated external marketing campaign proposals, and managed incoming media requests. In 2012, they became a Consultant for curlPRess, where they provided new product development and testing, product management, marketing communications, and influencer/experiential marketing. In 2017, Akuba founded BeautyWise, and also began working as a Sr. Product Development Manager at Godrej Consumer Products Limited. In 2020, they became the Director of Product Development at PATTERN Beauty and the Founder of Breedlove Beauty & Wellness Accelerator.

Akuba Torvikey Dawkins, MBA, has an education history that includes Riverdale High School from 1997 to 2001, where they completed a College Prep program in College/University Preparatory. Akuba Torvikey then attended The University of Georgia from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a B.A. in International Affairs. In 2004, they participated in a UGA en España - Study Abroad program, where they studied Spanish Language and Literature. Finally, they completed their MBA in Business Administration and Management at Brenau University from 2008 to 2010.
