Tim Simmons

Tim Simmons, MHA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Tim began their career as the Director of Sports Medicine & Concussion Institute at Gwinnett Medical Center, where they successfully grew revenue by launching a large athletic training service program. Tim then joined PT Solutions Physical Therapy as the National Director of Sports Medicine, where they turned around a failing program and achieved significant growth.

Simmons then joined LCMC Health as the System Director of Sports Medicine, overseeing the sports medicine and orthopedic program across 7 hospital campuses. Tim was later appointed as the Administrator of Ambulatory Services at New Orleans East Hospital, where they were responsible for driving daily operations and implementing patient-centric policies.

Following this, they served as the Vice President of the New Orleans Market at Beacon Behavioral Hospital, before assuming the role of Administrator and CEO at Baton Rouge Behavioral Hospital. Currently, they hold the position of Regional Vice President of Operations at Loving Hearts of Louisiana. Throughout their career, Simmons has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing healthcare operations.

Tim Simmons, MHA has a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from the University of Phoenix, obtained in 2010. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports Medicine & Athletic Training from Valdosta State University in 2004. Tim also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Georgia Southwestern State University, earned in 2000. In addition, Tim has obtained various certifications, including Certified Athletic Trainer and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification for Healthcare. Tim is also a holder of a State License in Athletic Training from the Louisiana Professional Medical Licensing Board.
