Alex Arslan

Alex Arslan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fields of quantitative science, data science, software development, community management, and biostatistics.

In 2019, Alex joined Beacon Biosignals as a Manager, Quantitative Science, and previously worked there as a Senior Data Scientist from 2019 to 2022.

Before that, Alex worked as a Software Developer at Invenia Technical Computing Corporation from 2018 to 2019.

In 2017, Alex served as a Community Manager for the Julia programming language project on contract with NumFOCUS.

From 2013 to 2017, Alex worked as a SAS Programmer at Cancer Research and Biostatistics.

In 2012, Alex briefly served as a Systems Analyst/Programmer II at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Alex's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Intern in Biostatistics at Axio Research from 2011 to 2012.

In 2009, Alex worked as an Aerospace Research Lab Assistant at the University of Washington.

Alex's work experience also includes a role in Special Projects and Information Technology at Renton Coil Spring from 2007 to 2009.

Alex Arslan completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at Penn State University from 2014 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS in May 2012, and the SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 in September 2014.
