Silke Pleus Cphr

Silke Pleus CPHR has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Silke is currently working at Beacon Community Services as the Director of People & Culture since April 2022. Prior to this, they were the Manager of People & Culture from August 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Beacon Community Services, Silke worked at BC Pension Corporation for a significant portion of their career. Silke'sroles at BC Pension Corporation include Project Lead, Digital HR from September 2019 to May 2020, Assistant Director of Talent Development from October 2017 to September 2019, Assistant Director of Employee Engagement & Development from April 2008 to October 2017, and Assistant Director of Human Resources from July 2006 to April 2008. Silke also started their career at BC Pension Corporation as an HR Advisor from November 2003 to July 2006.

Prior to their tenure at BC Pension Corporation, Silke served as the Director of Human Resources at Gerling Global Life Insurance Company from January 2001 to June 2003.

Silke Pleus CPHR has a diploma in Business/Commerce, General from Industrie & Handelskammer, Steinfurt, Germany, which they obtained between 1984 and 1987. Silke also holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certification from CPHR which they obtained in January 2003. Additionally, they have a Certificate in Human Resources from Ryerson University.
