Debbie Green is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the social housing and charitable sectors. Currently serving as Group Chief Executive at Beacon Cymru Group since April 2014, Debbie previously held the same position at Coastal Housing Group Limited, where efforts focused on social change and urban regeneration. Debbie has also contributed to Chwarae Teg as Chair and has held financial leadership positions at Dewi Sant Housing Association and Chwarae Teg, where responsibilities included strategic direction, financial management, and promoting gender equality in the workforce. Debbie holds an MBA from The Open University and a degree in History from the University of Cambridge.

Beacon Cymru Group is a not-for-profit organisation (registered social landlord) operating in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Carmarthenshire and Bridgend employing around 380 people. Beacon was formed in 2025 after a merger between Coastal Housing Group and RHA Wales. We build and manage homes and commercial premises, as well as offering homes for sale through our Pennant Homes subsidiary. We have particular expertise in regeneration and sustainable building methods.
