Andrew Thake

Andrew Thake is a Divisional Director at Beacon Events, specializing in the Resourcing Tomorrow and Mines and Money portfolios. With 17 years of experience in the events industry, Andrew has worked across various sectors including agriculture, finance, and mining, while demonstrating a strong ability to manage and develop talent. Andrew previously held roles at IQPC, Terrapinn, and Worldwide Business Research, among others, where they successfully launched multiple profitable events and led diverse teams. Andrew holds a 2:1 degree in Modern History and Management from the University of St. Andrews. Outside of work, they enjoy hiking, running marathons, and traveling, with the goal of visiting 100 countries.
