Ben Kern

Ben Kern, MS has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on operations and administration. Ben is currently serving as the Director of Operations at Beacon Health System, a role they began in January 2023. Before that, they held the position of Manager of Operations at the same company from May 2022 to January 2023. Prior to joining Beacon Health System, Ben worked as an Administrative Fellow at Beacon Health System and its affiliated organizations from June 2020 to June 2022. Ben also gained experience as an Administrative Intern at Indiana University Health from July 2019 to June 2020. Additionally, Ben has experience outside of the healthcare industry, having worked as a Sports Camp Counselor/Coordinator at Parkview Family YMCA from May 2015 to August 2018.

Ben Kern has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Indiana University Bloomington, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they hold two master's degrees from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, both in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which they completed in 2020. Ben has also earned various certifications, including membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives and certifications in project management, productivity, and problem-solving.
