Kim Koven

Kim joined Beacon Mobility in 2021 as the Director of Commercial Support. She assists with all functions of the commercial team, including proposals, tradeshows, and marketing materials to promote their Beacon family of brands. Kim comes to Beacon with nearly 25 years of experience in marketing and proposal management. She has held progressive roles in these functions including leading the proposal process for consulting firms, highly technical companies designing locomotives and industrial conveyer systems, and two other school bus companies.

Kim graduated with her A.S. in Accounting from Danville Area Community College, B.S. in Marketing from Illinois State University, and MBA in Management/Finance from North Central College.

Outside of work, Kim is heavily involved in her boys’ busy baseball and school lives. She and her family are avid Chicago Cubs fans, and their second home is on the ballfields. Kim enjoys traveling, interior decorating, gardening and is always looking for that perfect shot with her camera!
