James Lambuth, P.E. has a solid work experience in the oil and gas industry. James started their career in 2006 as a Staff Engineer at Schlumberger, where they worked until 2008. Following that, they joined Maersk Oil in 2010 as a Petroleum Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Reservoir Engineer, working there until 2014. James then moved to Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas and served as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, James joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as a Staff Reservoir Engineer for a short period until they joined Beacon Offshore Energy the same year. At Beacon Offshore Energy, they initially worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer and later progressed to the position of Vice President, Reservoir Engineering. James Lambuth, P.E. has accumulated extensive experience and expertise in reservoir engineering throughout their career.

James Lambuth, P.E. holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Texas McCombs School of Business, which they obtained between 2014 and 2016. Prior to this, they received a MSc with Distinction in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they completed from 2001 to 2006. James is also a Professional Engineer, having obtained certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in December 2018.
