Sr. Production Engineer at Beacon Offshore Energy

Natalia Salies has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Natalia currently holds the role of Sr. Production Engineer at Beacon Offshore Energy, where they started in April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Occidental as the Leader of GOM Strategic Planning and Performance from November 2020 to April 2021.

Natalia spent a significant part of their career at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where they held various roles. As a Sr. Planning Engineer in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) from September 2019 to November 2020, they were responsible for budgeting and forecasting GOM production, LOE, downtime, CAPEX, and ARO. Natalia also worked as a Sr. Production Engineer in the GOM from January 2016 to September 2019, overseeing production operations on Spar platforms such as Lucius, Horn Mountain, Heidelberg, and Constitution. Before that, they had roles as a Production Engineer in the Maverick Basin (Eagle Ford Shale) from October 2013 to December 2015 and as a Reservoir Engineer in the same location from September 2012 to October 2013.

Natalia commenced their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin from September 2010 to September 2012. Natalia then had internships at Anadarko Petroleum as an Engineering Intern IV in 2011, at Halliburton as a Summer Intern in 2009, at M-I SWACO as a Summer Intern in 2008, and at Petrobras as a Technical Assistant in 2007.

Natalia Salies completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Natalia then furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, from 2010 to 2012.
