M.D. Shakrul Islam

Md. Shakrul Islam is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Assistant Manager at Beacon Pharmaceuticals Limited since October 2022, following a similar role at General Pharmaceuticals Limited from June 2009 to May 2023. Expertise includes formulation development guided by the quality by design (QbD) concept, encompassing a comprehensive range of activities such as product development planning, pre-formulation studies, risk assessments, trial and pilot batch execution for stability studies, as well as raw and packaging material selection and optimization. Md. Shakrul Islam holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Asia Pacific and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Development Alternative, complemented by a Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from Dhaka State College and a Secondary School Certificate in Science from Tarash Islamia Pilot High School.
