Dr. Ivan Sergienko

Ivan Sergienko is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and research within the finance and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Product Manager at Beacon Platform since July 2022, Ivan also holds the position of Affiliated Researcher at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University since February 2016. Previously, as Chief Product Officer at Riskfuel from October 2019 to March 2022, Ivan developed AI-accelerated derivatives models and leveraged programming skills in Python, PyTorch, C++, and Rust. Ivan's prior experience includes leading Capital Markets Products at Element AI and serving as Director of Data Science and Director of Counterparty Credit Risk at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets. Ivan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from Southern Federal University and a Certificate from the Scotiabank Analytics Program at Queen's University.
