Shambhu Shrestha has a diverse work experience that spans over the years. Shambhu is currently working at Beacon Platform since 2017, where they hold the position of Co-Head of Core Engineering. Prior to this role, they served as a Principal Engineer and Lead Engineer, showcasing their technical expertise and leadership skills. Before joining Beacon Platform, Shambhu worked at Goldman Sachs for a significant period of time, starting in 2006. During their tenure, they held the position of Vice President and was involved in various roles within the company. Notably, they worked on critical trading systems used by program trading and quantitative trading desks in the Core Equities Trading Technology division. Additionally, they were responsible for overseeing the technologies utilized by the team at GSIP (Goldman Sachs Investment Partners), where they played a crucial role in investment decision making, execution, risk management, and back-office operations. Shambhu's experience at Goldman Sachs showcased their expertise in financial technology and their ability to handle important responsibilities.

Shambhu Shrestha completed their education in a chronological order. From 2000 to 2004, they attended Tokyo Institute of Technology where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering. Following that, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering. Finally, from 2010 to 2013, Shambhu attended the CFA Institute where they received their CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) degree in Financial Analysis.
