Yakov Lantsman

Yakov Lantsman has extensive work experience in the financial industry, holding prominent roles at various companies. Yakov is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at The Modelry since January 2019. Prior to this, Yakov served as the Co-Head of Beacon Banking at Beacon Platform Inc in 2018, where they played a key role in integrating technology and data science to create a modern model life-cycle framework for banks. From 2013 to 2018, Yakov held the position of Global Head of Model Risk at M&T Bank, overseeing the risk assessment process for the bank's models. Before joining M&T Bank, Yakov held leadership roles at Deloitte as Principal from 2011 to 2013, at Protiviti as MD from 2008 to 2011, at Algorithmics as SVP from 2001 to 2008, and at Netrisk as VP from 2000 to 2008. Yakov's diverse experience and expertise in the financial industry make him a valuable asset in managing and transforming modeling teams.
