Bereket A. Berhe

Bereket A. Berhe has a diverse work experience in the mining and geological engineering fields. Bereket is currently the Managing Director and Mining Analyst at Beacon Securities Limited since September 2021, and previously held the role of Director and Mining Analyst at the same company starting in July 2020. Before that, Berhe was a Director at E2Gold Inc. from June 2020 to March 2023. Bereket also worked as a Mining Analyst at M Partners Inc. from August 2018 to July 2020. Prior to these positions, Berhe was an Independent Consultant, working as a Research Analyst for various companies including Eritrean National Mining Corporation (ENAMCO), Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited (WGM), Micon International Limited, and Matrix GeoTechnologies Ltd., providing valuation-related consulting and participating in negotiations for mergers and acquisitions of mining projects. Bereket also worked as an Associate Geological Engineer at Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited from October 2007 to October 2018, where their responsibilities included property valuation, due diligence, and research analysis for investment screening and mineral potential assessment. Berhe began their career as a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger, where they conducted geophysical data acquisition, processing, and analysis for oil and gas wells in Canada and Oman. Bereket also played a role in training and supervising junior engineers.

Bereket A. Berhe attended the University of Toronto from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mineral and Geological Engineering.
