Corey Cohen, CFA has a diverse work experience history. Starting in 2010, they worked as an Account Manager at eTopia Communications Inc. Corey then transitioned to a role as a Teaching Assistant at York University in 2013. In 2014, Corey joined Brookfield Johnson Controls as a Lease Analyst for a period of eight months. The following year, in 2015, they served as a Summer Associate at Broadview Capital Management Inc. Corey then moved on to Virtus Advisory Group Inc. where they worked as an Associate from 2016 to 2020, and subsequently as a Vice President from 2020 to 2022. Presently, Corey holds the position of Vice President Institutional Equity Sales at Beacon Securities Limited since March 2022.
Corey Cohen, CFA has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics from York University, which was obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, Corey completed a Bachelor's degree in Honours Economics and Business Management at Wilfrid Laurier University between 2009 and 2013. Corey's education started at Westmount Collegiate Institute, where they completed their High School education from 2005 to 2009. Corey has also obtained the Canadian Securities Course certification and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) conferred by the CFA Institute.
