Kevin Kerr, CFA, MBA has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Kevin started their career as a Customer Service Representative at BMO Financial Group in 1997, where they performed various front-line teller and investment services for retail customers. Kevin then joined TD Securities in 1999 as an Investment Representative, executing stock transactions and facilitating transactions in bonds and IPOs. Kevin progressively advanced within TD Securities, taking on roles such as Manager in Commercial Money Market Sales, Manager in Institutional Money Market Sales, Vice President in the Commercial Paper and Originations Group, and finally Vice President and Director in the Global Short Term Markets. In these positions, they dealt with a wide range of financial securities, including T-bills, short-term Canada bonds, commercial paper, and interest rate swaps. Kevin also served as a primary participant in the Bank of Canada's T-bill auctions for TD Securities. In 2013, Kevin pursued a self-employed venture as a Project Manager, overseeing the construction of a 4000 sq. ft. home. Kevin joined Beacon Securities Limited in 2015 as Vice President in Fixed Income Sales and Trading, where they played an instrumental role in underwriting, origination, trading, and sales of Canadian provincial, corporate, and municipal debt. Kevin Kerr, CFA, MBA obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from Saint Mary's University from 1998 to 2000. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Political Science from Dalhousie University, completed between 1991 and 1995. Prior to their higher education, Kevin attended Prince Andrew High School from 1987 to 1990. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kevin has obtained several certifications including CFA from CFA Institute in 2004, Conduct and Practices Handbook from Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in 1999, Personal Financial Counselling from Institute of Canadian Bankers in 1998, Canadian Securities Course from Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in 1997, and National Coaching Certificate Program - Level 1 from Canadian Soccer Association (Canada Soccer) in 1993.
