Amanda Fernandes has extensive work experience in the property management industry. Amanda started their career at Equity Residential as an Educational Services/HR Assistant, where they provided support to the Regional Education Director and Facilities Education Director. Amanda also held the role of Assistant Property Manager during their time at Equity Residential.

Amanda then joined Forest City Realty Trust as a Property Manager, where they gained experience in overseeing the operations of residential properties.

Currently, Amanda is working at Beacon Communities LLC as an Assistant Regional Vice President. In this role, they are responsible for the overall operations of six diverse residential communities. Amanda oversees the development of staff, manages budgets, implements marketing plans, and ensures compliance with legal regulations. Amanda also represents the company in various inspections and handles resident issues.

Amanda Fernandes earned a BA/BS degree in Communication/Business Administration from Bryant University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications. In 2010, they obtained the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification from the National Apartment Association. In 2014, they obtained the C3P certification from The Spectrum Companies. Most recently, in November 2019, they obtained the National Affordable Housing Professional Executive (NAHP-e) certification from NAHMA - The National Affordable Housing Management Association.
