Simon Gibbons

After ten years as a teacher and Head of Department in London schools, Dr Simon Gibbons moved, via a role as a Local Authority consultant, into the university sector and is currently the director of teacher education at King’s College London and a senior lecturer in English and Education. Simon was the Chair of the National Association for the Teaching of English from 2011-2013. He researches and publishes in the field of the history and development of secondary English education.
