Shaun Vanderwerf

Shaun Vanderwerf, CFI has a diverse work experience in loss prevention and asset protection. Shaun started their career in 2002 at Burdines-Macy's as a Loss Prevention professional, where they conducted investigations and implemented shortage awareness programs. Shaun then moved on to Abercrombie and Fitch as a District Loss Prevention Manager, responsible for multiple locations and mentoring LP agents. In 2009, they joined Macy's as a Loss Prevention Manager before transitioning to Beall's, Inc. in 2010 as a District Loss Prevention Manager. At Beall's, Inc., they held various roles including Regional Investigator, Regional Loss Prevention Manager, and Live Observation Control Center Manager. In 2016, they joined L Brands as a Regional Asset Protection Manager for Bath & Body Works, where they executed programs to prevent losses and built strong relationships. Currently, Shaun Vanderwerf is the Divisional Vice President of Corporate and Logistics Loss Prevention at Bealls, Inc., overseeing loss prevention operations at a corporate level.

Shaun Vanderwerf, CFI, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Ashford University in the years 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, Shaun attended the University of Phoenix from 2004 to 2007, although no degree or field of study information was provided for this period. Shaun also holds certifications from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, Inc. Specifically, Shaun is Wicklander-Zulawski Certified in both Basic and Advanced forensic interview techniques. In addition, Shaun obtained the Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) certification from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, Inc. in October 2011.
